For the past sixteen years Clyde and his wife Linda have been Bearing Precious Seed missionaries. They were married October 18, 1958. The Durnils have a son and a daughter and four grandchildren.

Clyde was saved when he was fifteen and Linda at age eight. The Lord called Clyde into full time Christian service in 1970. He and his wife attended Tennessee Temple University in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Clyde received his Thg.(graduate of Theology) degree in 1974 and Linda received hers in 1975. Clyde received his Masters in 1995, from the School of the Scriptures in Melbourne, Kentucky. In 2002, he received an Honorary Doctor of Divinity from the School of the Scriptures.

Before coming to Milford, the Durnils spent a short time as missionaries in Trinidad, West Indies. Then Brother Durnil pastored for ten years. The Durnils have made over twenty-five trips into Mexico, helping to deliver tons of Scriptures. They have helped pass out many Scriptures and have seen thousands saved as the result.

They have also passed out Scriptures in Canada, the Bahamas, Germany and the Czech Republic. Brother Durnil has also made trips into Russia, Africa and India. In Africa he helped deliver Bibles in three different languages to three different tribes that had never had a Bible in their own language before. He also went into the restricted area in Northeastern India to deliver Bibles to a tribal group that received the New Testament in their own language for the first time.

Brother Durnil has been the past BPS field representative for Europe and Canada. He has also been the past Director of Unpublished Scriptures. He is responsible for raising money for paper and for the operation of the print shop.
